Catoptria latiradiellus

''Catoptria latiradiellus'', the Three-spotted Crambus Moth or Two-banded Catoptria, is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Walker in 1863. It is found in North America, where it has been recorded from Yukon and British Columbia to Newfoundland, south to Pennsylvania, Michigan and Colorado.〔(Bug Guide )〕 The habitat consists of wet tundra, boreal forests and grasslands.
The wingspan is 19–24 mm. The forewings are reddish-brown with a silvery-white stripe crossed by two diagonal medium-brown bands. There is a terminal series of black dots. The basal part of the hindwings is whitish and light brown distally. Adults are on wing from July to August.〔(University of Alberta E.H. Strickland Entomological Museum )〕
The larvae probably feed on mosses.〔(Bug Guide )〕
